A real Leap of Faith!

I have a busy week so I made a few cards today to put in my stash and use over the next few days.  This little cutie is Deedee's digi  'Leap of Faith'  colored in Copic's, the cardstock is DCWV.  I popped the image up with pop dots then added stitches with a white pen but they didn't come out to good.

Journal Time:  I've been busy packing stuff up for a busy week.  I have to take the dog to the vet tomorrow because his cough is so bad he keeps me awake at night and it sounds painful.  Friday my son in law is having back surgery so I will be sitting with my daughter until he's out of surgery and doing ok.  Then I need to get in my car and drive to St. Louis, Missouri about 9 hours away.  We've been planning this get together for about 2 months, there are six girls who met on the Internet several years ago and we wanted a girls weekend so its coming in just a few days.   We're going to chat, stamp, swap goodies and just have fun.   Then I will come home Monday when I've caught up with sleep and enjoy a long, quiet leisure drive before I get things ready for a Yard Sale the following weekend.   I'm really excited so prayers for Allen then prayers for a safe trip all around for all 6 of us meeting up in Missouri.   Big Hugs,
Jeanine

Adorable card, Granny! Those papers go so well with the image -- they have that sort of "airy" feel while being bright and cheery at the same time. I can see your "stitching" and it looks great! Sounds like you have a very busy week ahead of you. I'll be praying that all goes well, especially with your son-in-law's surgery and your fun girls' weekend! Hugs, Deedee

Great card!!! I'll be praying for your son-in-law that the surgery goes well. I'm sure you will be a great comfort to Vickie. Have fun with all the girls and tell them hello!

is he getting better now? Pei Pa Koa (www.geocities.jp/ninjiom_hong_kong/index_e.htm ) is one of the few Chinese natural cough remedies that have been scientifically studied. it's something like herb plus honey, and it's sweet, thick and black in color. If you have a cough, look for it! It used to be one of my favourite natural cough remedies.

if your cough persists, seek professional help such as traditional Chinese medicine physicians - I have had very good experiences with them.
