Soldiers Tribute

I love this stamp set from SU called The Free & the Brave. I used Copics R37,B29, E37, G99, E50, E51, W3. I colored the G99 and left spots for the E37 to do camouflage. I used all SU cardstock Not Quite Navy & Certainly Celery. I also did to other versions of the card using mulberry paper and then a very plain card. Enjoy the card and I certainly hope you all had a wonderful weekend it sure flew by.

In case I haven't said this before I really want to thank the girls on Stampin Trades & Treasured Friendships for all the encouragement and support the past 2 1/2 years. God Bless.

Ice Cream Bear

This cute little Ice Cream Bear is from 'All that Scraps.com' this card is a work of art cause I used Copic'sY26,E37, E51, R81 & YR24. It is cardstock from SU. Pink Piro (09 In Color that I will miss so very much), Tempting Turquoise then I used the Eyelet border. But I changed streams and used The Angel Company DSP and some foam letters to finish off the card. He's such a cutie patootie.
Yep today I went and bought a 2009-2010 SU Catalog from my Stamp Camp Demo, couldn't wait I was dying to see what was new. Well I spent the afternoon looking and have to say that I made it all the way to page 98 before I found a Stamp set that I have (I'm really out of the loop) I think I have about 10 current stamp sets from SU oh well I'm branching out. I also received my order from Stubby Stampers today they had a 50% off sale and then on top of that they sent me a free bag of about 10 stamps its all unmounted but I got over 18 new stamps and verses for $21. Smokin Deal. OK now I'm off to cruise through the SU catalog again to add to my wish list. Have a wonderful evening and a great Sunday.

Fifth Avenue Floral

Today I cleaned up my Studio I worked on paper scraps and sorted a bunch of images (boy do I have images) then I went to the mailbox and received my 15 newest Copic markers. I love Oozak and Rusty they have the best deals on Copic's and I usually get them within 48 hours. How can you beat that if you go there www.Oozak.com tell Rusty that Jeanine sent you an I know they'll take great care of you. Now I won't admit that 9 months ago I said I wasn't getting into the Copic thing but fell in love with the blending and shades instantly so how many do I have..........you guess?

As for my card today it is really simple I am madly in love with the Fifth Avenue Floral Set and the Embosser folder so I took a piece of green vellum and embossed it put it on white textured cardstock and waa laa pretty as can be. I'm impressed that's for sure but hey I'm easily impressed. Until tomorrow..................

Scuba Anyone? June 24, 2009

This is a 'All that Scraps' digi image that a dear friend Becky graciously shared with me. I used Copic's to color him and used dew drops and Crystal Effects from SU. I love SU cardstock so I almost always start my cards out with good cardstock then I think I've had the water background paper for 5 years but I enjoyed this little guy and ordered the set to download at http://www.allthatscraps.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=899_901 well I hope you enjoy this I had fun working on it.

I actually spent the day having a Girls Day out with my daughter Vicki, she actually came over because she's turned into a GIANT COUPON CLIPPER GEEK. Yes my daughter is a coupon junkie, oh don't get me wrong she's good at it. One day she did a KMart double coupon run she had something like $240 worth of goodies and with coupons paid like $50. Wow is that cool but I can't print all these coupon she sends me so she thought she would try to solve my problems. After an hour she had searched all these places, done all these things and nothing they still wouldn't print. I bet I've installed the coupon printer 25 times but each time I try to print they say I have to install the dang thing again. I'm calling the computer guru he'll be here on Friday. Everyone have a safe and happy day. Until tomorrow............

June 22, 2009

I've tried to stamp but just don't have it, I have other things on my mind so the following card is something I did a couple of weeks ago. I stamped a bunch of the squares and everynight I colored some. The stamp set is from PapertreyInk.com its called the Quilt Sampler, I used a SU Happy Birthday stamp and sent to a friend. I used Copics to color them R81 & YG23. These are fun to color and you can keep them for other quick cards.
