OWH Challenge

I made a card for the 'Operation Write Home' challenge using a specific design. The DSP is from SEI called Madeline I used a SU scallop punch, button and CM corner punch and my Cricut. Yep that was my Christmas present to myself a Cricut Expression and I've used it exactly 3 times. I need a teacher to help me but I do have to say I got the tool kit when I got the Cricut and today while getting up the saying I Miss You, I cut myself with one of the scrapers. Whoa that puppy is sharp and I have a gash in the palm of my hand to prove it. I took a picture of it but didn't want to subject you to that so I didn't post it. As for the image its a digital and for the life of me I don't have any idea who designed it. I file all my digi's by designer and I feel bad I don't have a name on this if anyone knows who designed it please let me know. Have a great night its suppose to be 12 degrees tonight, the roads still aren't plowed, traffic is still at a standstill in a few places and we leave for Orlando on Friday night Hogwarts here I come.

Very soft and pretty! I love buttons on cards so that's a great embellishment too!

Love your card, so pretty and such soft colors perfect for that beautiful image. I love my Cricut, had it about 2 years now and makes thing so much easier. Check out The Pink Stamper, Above Rubies Studio, Craft Junie Too and Creations with Christina. Oh and a great one right now, she is doing videos for all those who got Cricuts for Christmas is Joy's Life, http://www.joyslife.com/ she has a whole series going for the how to. Have fun, there are no mistakes.

Such a pretty card! I love the plaid paper. I don't have a Cricut but kinda wish I did, I just love the look of the cut out sentiments on cards. Have fun with yours!

So pretty! I love those soft colors.

I'm afraid I would be the same way if I got a Cricut. I hope you figure it out and don't get any more injuries from it. That sounds very painful!

This is so soft and lovely, Granny! I don't know who makes the image, but if you find out, please let me know -- it's wonderful! Sounds like you had a trying time with your Cricut. Sorry, I don't have one so I can't give any tips, but your cut-out sentiment is terrific! Glad you got a little reward out of the tangle. Praying your hand heals quickly!
