Top Note Cards

Well it all started a few weeks ago when I learned how to make these top note cards and since then I've used alot of my scraps to put together these fun cards then I had to go borrow a friends Top Note Die to do this all. It was worth it I love how they turned out. My first one is Gina K paper that I downloaded from Gina K's store then I used 1 inch white organza ribbon with brown ric rak as an accent with some dew drops as bling.

My second one is my butterfly paper my precious friend Becky wrapped my presents in one time and I saved it and ironed it back to normal then I cut it into 4 X 5 1/2 pieces. I did have some scraps and so I used them. Just take a piece of paper 3 3/4 X 5 inches and use it as the backing of your squares that are 1 1/4 each. Make up your pattern and when you have them glued down good put the paper through the Big Shot and waaaa laaaaaaaaa a cute quilt. I used the Martha Stewart butterfly punches some mini rhinestones and some fun pearl string I found at Hobby Lobby.

This top Note is fun colors and I love the bow. I just learned how to make that and its so easy, cut ribbon depending on how long you want the bow fold it over and anchor it with a couple glue dots then cut a short 1 1/2 inch fold it over the bow making the top part and anchor it with more glue dots. I know that sounds confusing but its really easy and it makes such a pretty bow.

My last card is quite Christmas - z. I use the same bow technique and I used a white pen from SU to mark the cardstock like stitches. Its OK and I like it, actually I love the top note cards and plan on making more stay tune I had fun water coloring and finishing these cards today. I spent the day relaxing and thanking God for his precious gifts especially those involving Vicki. I'm not a super religious person but each day I will remember to thank God for all his blessings.
God Bless.

These are all really pretty. I love the extra touches to the card. I recently made a Top Note quilt card and loved it. These are easy to make and have such a great look to them. I may make some quilted Christmas cards this year now that I've seen your great Christmas card :)
