Cocoa with Lilac's

Hello everyone, I made this little lavender card for the stitch challenge after all the work I realized this is a Sweet n Sassy stamp not a Deedee digitalstamp so all the faux stitching and pretty lavender DSP will just have to be.  I used SU card stock, ribbon and white pen, then I found this script DSP in my purple paper stash.

I have twelve of the standing 12 X 12 paper holders from SU and I store SU paper in the first 3 bins, then I sort by Specialty paper, texture paper, then colors.  I have a two drawer file cabinet that I keep SU 8 1/2 X 11 card stock.  Oh and then I have a small canvas bin for my 6 X 6 an 8X8 paper, and then I have a huge bin 18" tall 18 X 30 long on the floor that's full.  In August I am going to donate a bunch of DSP paper and all the retired ink pads to the elementary Art teacher.  In return for the donation I have the teacher get pictures and letters from all the little kids to send off to the soldiers with my OWH.  I still haven't seen the SU catalog which is OK cause I know I'm going to spend a bundle on the new color pens, pads, card stock, ribbon etc etc.

Well I planned to make this brief today but as usual I chattered on and on.  I can't have an adult conversation with my Mom so when I'm around big people I talk their ears off.  Mom is calling me her today and says there are kids playing on the back porch which is screened in and locked and there are no kids in the neighborhood so its a bad day for her.  Let's just hope and pray tomorrow is a good day for her.  God bless you all and remember to 'Play it forward'.

Cocoa looks so darling done up with those lavenders and purples -- a really beautiful card, Jeanine! Sounds to me like you have worked out a fabulous trade with the art teacher! I'm sure the soldiers will love getting cards and letters from the kids. Hugs, Deedee

Oh Granny! This is beautiful. I so love everything about it especially the moncromatic color scheme. Love the faux stitiching. I actually thought it was real until I read your post. Hugs.

OOOooooo! I'm lovin' the lavendar and purple card! You've colored this sweet little mouse and the flowers beautifully! The art teacher is going to go bananas with the stampin'up papers and inks! I got the new catalog just last week and right now it's my favorite late night browsing book. Gotta stash some serious change to afford the favorites that I have marked off! The soldiers will love cards from the children! I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's bad day. I will pray for her and for the strength you also need to endure your Mother's illness. Blessings and Hugs
