Long time no see

I love giraffe's their so regal, gentle, and awesome.  This digital image is from Doodle Pantry and I colored it with Copic's and cut it out.  I found this pretty brown paisley print in my stash cut it with ziggie scissors added some organdy ribbon and SU ribbon popped the giraffe up with pop dots and I was done.  I just love this image and you can see more at

Yesterday I used my new weedeater 'The Worx'. Well for all the money I spend on it I wasn't happy it's suppose to have a charge on it to cut around 3 thats three football fields.  It didn't make it for 20 minutes and I know I can't walk around three football fields in 20 minutes.  I charged the thing for 2 days so that wasn't the problem and it cut good but just not much and I had no intentions of spending another 25 dollars for a second battery.  So we'll just see how the 60 free trial goes.  I mowed the yard, trim two huge bushes and all before noon.  So needless to say I came in showered, and sat down to enjoy the rest of my book Amazing Grace by Danielle Steel.  It was actually really good and I read the whole thing in 3 days, no I'm starting on Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner.
Have a great weekend I'll be back here on Monday!
God Bless,

Your Giraffe is adorable and Caity said, Awwwwwwww....she colored it perfectly! You were a busy lady with the yard and I'm sure it was hot! Take care of yourself!

What a DARLING giraffe, Granny! You colored him so beautifully. Love those papers you used with it, and the great greeting, too! I'm impressed with all that you did in your yard, especially considering it's summer hot. Sometimes we need to get ourselves moving like that, though, don't we? I'm sure glad you got some downtime afterwards, though -- you don't want to push yourself too hard! Hugs, Deedee
